The Ministry of Ayush has decided to utilise this occasion to reach out to humanity with a special and topical message of rejuvenation through the surya namaskar — the set of yoga asanas used to “salute” the sun. The sun will rise a little to the north on Makar Sankranti, January 14, bringing along many messages of cultural, spiritual and agricultural significance for the country. The word “sankranti” signifies transitional movement, the movement for betterment within and without, transitions on a cosmic level and in the zodiac signs.

K-RIDE, the JV of Ministry of Railways and Govt of Karnataka had organized a Logo competition. Our experience has been positive and we accomplished our objective. Tagline Competition for K-RIDE website. The valid entries were evaluated and none of the entries for tagline fulfilled the evaluation criteria required for the award of a prize. It has therefore been decided not to proceed further with the entries as received against the said contest through the MyGov platform.

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries started a 15days Social Media Campaign named ‘Main Hoon Aatmanirbhar Naari’ through which the valuable contribution of women in the food processing sector was acknowledged. Women of our country plays an important role in expanding the Food Processing Sector, and through this campaign, the success stories of women in Food Processing Industries from PAN India were circulated. The campaign also aimed to engage and tap a larger audience and to generate awareness about the schemes and their benefits provided by the Schemes of the Ministry.
