Aligarh Development Authority (ADA) in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh is setting up a modular roof top rain water harvesting (RWH) unit atop the office of the Divisional Commissioner, Aligarh Division.  From water shortage to water abundance, the system will also enhance water quality and provide unlimited water storage capacity.

The ancient town of Chidambaram in Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu is blessed with a large number of lakes and ponds. In total, there are 15 lakes, including 3 temple tanks and the combined surface areas of these lakes is around 100 acres with a rough storage capacity of 50 crore litres. The names of the tanks are: Vannan Kulam, Easwaran Kulam, Aanai Mettu Kulam, Nagachery Tank, Periya Anna Kulam, Gnanaprakasam, Ayikulam, Kumarankullam, Palamankulam, Thatchana Kulam, Ommakulam, Thillai Amman Koil Kulam, Elamai Akkinar Kulam, Kariaperumal Kulam, and Chinna Anna Kulam.

For the fifth and sixth fortnight of the Contest, entries were invited from 8th to 22nd September, 2018 and 23rd September to 6th October, 2018 on MyGov Portal.

Taking crowdsourcing from campaigning to governance, the Narendra Modi Government‘s latest initiative, the MyGov site calls for suggestions on cleaning the Ganga. Seeking to bring about a radical change in the condition of the river, the Modi government is seeking to accumulate ideas and responses from the biggest stakeholders – the people of India through the ‘Clean Ganga’ initiative on MyGov. Since the launch, the group has already garnered 18,000 plus members going about on 9 tasks listed- from preparing roadmaps for the Government to conducting fieldwork.
