Talkathon on Accessible India with Hon. Minister Shri Thaawar Chand Gehlot

As part of its initiative to highlight the ongoing drive by Government of India towards the inclusion of the disadvantaged sections of the society and to publicize Accessible India Campaign, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is organizing “Talkathon” with Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Thaawar Chand Gehlot and Secretary Shri Lov Verma. They will directly interact with twitterati by answering the questions posted with #AskonAccessibleIndia. The Talkathon programme is scheduled to be held on 7th January, 2016 from 6 PM onwards. The event will be live streamed on the Youtube channel of I&B Ministry- youtube.com/inbministry (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SlEamJs1n3s). The program would be live from National Media Centre, New Delhi. “Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan” or “Accessible India Campaign” - formulated by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment aims to create barrier free environment to the disabled.
