Property bubble in Tier 2,3 & 4 cities and towns will will break governments backbone if not handled carefully. People are selling savings invested in financial markets and buying empty plots to speculate and sell at higher prices. Government should know that property is double edged sword if it rises it reaches sky and when it collapses it breaks the earth under your feet. Second important point is why are people speculating in property, unless return on investment in normal business have collapsed or are shrinking and rent seeking nature of property is attractive. This means there is a cancer in heart of these local economies, it shows their dysfunction and points towards larger picture which is even more concerning. Property prices going sky high without goods and services turnover increasing in that area is a cause of concern rather then pride.
