भारतीय संस्कृति में प्रत्येक त्यौहार का विशेष महत्व है और लोकतंत्र में मतदान एक महत्वपूर्ण राष्ट्रीय त्योहार ही है । संक्रांति पर्व के उत्सव को मतदान जागरूकता को जोड़कर महाराष्ट्रके परभणी जीलेकी जागरूक महिला नागरिक श्रीमती वैशाली पोटेकर द्वारा एक अनोखा कार्यक्रम "कार्यक्रम हळदी कुंकवाचा - जागर मतदानाचा" दिनांक ४ फरवरी २०२४ को आयोजित किया गया । इस कार्यक्रम मे लगभग ३०० महीलाओंने अगली चुनावमे मतदान करने दृढ़ संकल्प व्यक्त किया ।
राष्ट्रीय दायित्व नीभानेके साथ भारतीय संस्कृति के संरक्षण के इस कार्यक्रम में श्रीमती वैशालीने अपनी कल्पकतासे निर्माण किये विभिन्न पोस्टरों के जरिए मतदान करने का संदेश दिया | इस अवसर पर पारंपरिक हल्दी कुंकु सजावट के साथ एक प्रारूप मतदान केंद्र स्थापित किया गया । इसमें मतदाता सूची की तरह आमंत्रित महिलाओंकी सूची, पोलिंग चीट की तरह कार्ड, मतदान को चिह्नित करने के लिए उनकी उंगली पर नेल पेंट लगाना, ईवीएम यूनिट की प्रतिकृती, "वान दान" कक्षमे गुप्त मतदान तथा आकर्शक सेल्फी पॉइंट शामिलकरके मतदान जनजागृती अभियान संपन्न हुवा ।
