Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India has approved a nationwide initiative namely ‘National Digital Literacy Mission’ (NDLM) to provide ICT training to 10 Lakh (Ten Lakh) persons One in every eligible household in selected Blocks in each State/UT. This would enable the beneficiaries to use ICT and related applications and participate effectively in the democratic process, nation building and enhance their livelihood.
This scheme seeks creative mind to design a Logo, Slogan and Banner for NDLM initiative. The Last date of entries is 15th September, 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

This logo is an extension of the Rashtriya Saksharta Mission. Technology allows us to collaborate better as physical limitations reduce. Hence, it is an enabler for inclusive growth.

NDLM slogan- Jan-Jan ka nara ho, e-shiksha ka adhikar hamara ho". Defining NDLM Logo- This digital literacy is meant for everyone therefore there's no gender inequality and differences among the people thats why a boy and a girl holding the mission together. Their tri-color shows the nationality and '@' sign shows the e-learning or digital literacy surrounding them.
