Workers in OMAN face extreme hardships, which tempt them to suicidal syndrome, there has been many issues reported recently wherein the affected person had been treated for a suicidal attempt and sent back to India . Indian government must take severe action to prevent such misuse of indian employed in OMAN

Companies in OMAN are holding passport of employees which is against the rule. Indian embassy in OMAN must provide individual interaction with Indians citizens so as to understand their problems. Currently only at HR level the concerns are addressed.

My son lost his rights to called Indian, just because he was born in USA. Even if He is going back to India with me, and live all his child hood in India, he can never gain his rights to be called Indian, unless he quit his US citizenship(after 18). How would I teach him India's culture, religion, and history. Why would he learn? when he knows, he has no rights to be Indian. Allow dual citizenship, at least up to 18 years, until the child is mature, and able to take his decision.

Problem: When a Indian Citizen works in USA, IRS collects Social Security funds and those funds are formally entrusted to Social Security Trust Funds. These funds are entitled to give benefits after retirement. When Indian Citizen leaves the host country and goes to his home country(India), the India expat looses all his contributions, and looses all his benefits. Solution is documented in attachment.

We need to get the top 3 issues faced by NRI community and resolve them. So can we get the top 3 big issues then the rest of the issues may be dependednt on the top 3 issues or we can relook at the next top 3 issues after we resolve the first top 3 issues.

Stamping services: Currently for all visa stamping services, NRis need to go back to India to get visa stamped visa or renewed. Many of NRIs living in US don't want to visit India for such restriction since it is quite hard process to first face Indian Customs and then try to come back to US to continue their services. This leaves us stranded in US and locked here to go no where. If this process is discussed with US Govt and simplified, am sure more NRIs would visit India!

But just to point to our GoI- MoHA regarding, opening of exclusive counters to returning Indians at the immigration of all International Airports in India. I have been travelling regularly between Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei etc. In all these countries, they have an exclusive counters for their own returning citizens. So they need not wait in long queue with other nationals to enter. We feel missed such Privillege while returning Home.. May MoHA have a look at such options please

On my recent visit to HCI London, for passport renewal i wasted in total 3.5 day to get my passport replaced due to insufficient page. i have been told for 1 problem every time, but why cant they check my file once and see every thing and tell me what they need. why cant there be one person who attends every one without appointment or with appointment and advice him/her for what they will need to do in terms of completing their work so every one can finish their work for the 1st time.
