Efficient services- Give a 7 digit ID to EVERY govt employee (Cent/State) This ID must be clearly visible when they are at work. Also must include in all correspondence with public. Create a website where public can report misuse of power or harassment or delay in work. Have a team to 1. ask explanation from the employee, 2. investigate more serious complaints. All this should go in employees personal file (review at promotion). this will reward good employees wherever they are in the government

Make services and experience of interacting with and in India more pleasurable and comfortable for NRIs. This will attract long term investment in service sector and also in finance. Currently only those NRIs with high connections deal with India because of the system. They have money but not expertise like doctors, engineers, IIT people etc. This is a missed opportunity. Money can come from 100 sources but not talent. Introduce accountability in all govt services for all employees.

India should work on getting more Visa on Arrivals or Free Visa with more countries. Its so cumbersome to get a even a tourist Visa for Europe/Australia/US. Moreover Indians with UK or Singapore passport can get 50-60 countries VOA.

India should revise its Social Security Agreement with Japan as right now it benefits only Japanese workers in India but not NRIs in Japan. When a person leaves the host country and goes to his home country, while Japanese expats gets full contribution back with interest, the India expat get the contribution for the last 36 months, that too with deductions. Ideally Indians leaving Japan should also be eligible for lump sum withdrawal of pension his fund. Please feel free to ask for details!

Train immigration officers for proper behaviour. They shall avoid unnecessary interrogation of travellers. I still remember that I was asked for visa invition letter at emigration counter n company appointment letter at a counter in mumbai. apart from that you shall brig methods to eliminate corruption from these places. Particularly mumbai custom n emigration officer are far fearsome than deadly goons..

Procedure for filing paper emigration form at international departures and arrivals is unnecessarily increasing piling of papers when it can be easily done by machine readable passports, which are mandatory now. It can make the predeparture time shorter n make international departures faster. When traveling to India from international city we need to be at airport 90 minute advance in India the time is 2-3 hours

Task 1- Passport office overseas staff needs customer service training. As an NRI when i compare them with services here in Canada. I will ashamed of their rudeness. Task 2- Needs to have clear instruction of everything on website. My husband had a lot of hassel renewing his passport. As of now this is fine. Writing from Canada

Request for a Right to vote at Embassy at the time of elections Approach: >Every Indian (NRI) first register for voting at the Local embassy through online in the local embassy website by submitting necessary information. > Local Embassy can very well cross check the data with the central database in India and provide receipts/ Right to vote slips to NRIs through the email to the registered ID. > On voting day, NRI can personally visit the Embassy with passport and slip to cast vote. Thank u
