We can have a website such that the people of a particular constituency can directly address their grievances to their MPs and their MLAs. These grievances should be available on the site so that the media and the other interested citizen can keep a check on how many have been addressed and how many needs addressing. Such a system will be transparent and will provide the MPs/MLAs a platform to directly be in touch to their voters.

One way of empowering citizens is to connect the local MP or MLA through social media or websites like MyGov and list their problems directly to them, this way the citizens can list their problems to the concerned persons and they can get the benefits or solutions on the platform itself.

One of the first steps we could take is put all our transportation routes and timetables online and on mobile apps. This should include long distance trains, buses as well as local transportation may it be local trains/ buses/ metros. Most developed nations have such apps which show all possible connections between two destinations. This would motivate the citizens to use public transport and reduce usage of private vehicles creating more sustainable, accountable and reliable system.
