The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India, in collaboration with MyGov, invites citizens to participate in the BRICS 2026 Reel Making Contest and creatively showcase the significance of BRICS, India’s role in the grouping, and India’s BRICS 2026 Chairship.
India’s BRICS 2026 Chairship is guided by the theme “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability”, with a people-centric and “Humanity First” approach. Participants are invited to create engaging and informative reels highlighting India’s BRICS 2026 Chairship, India’s role and priorities in BRICS, youth participation, technology and innovation, sustainable development, culture and people-to-people connect, and cooperation among BRICS countries.
Participants may also explore the theme “What BRICS Means to Me” and present their creative perspective on the significance of BRICS 2026. The contest aims to encourage citizen participation, youth engagement and creative citizen-generated content, while enhancing public awareness about BRICS and India’s role in the grouping.

Guidelines:
• The reel must be original, creative and created by the participant.
• The content must be relevant to BRICS 2026 and India’s Chairship.
• The reel should be informative, factual, engaging and suitable for public viewing.
• Participants must ensure that the content does not violate any copyright, trademark, privacy or other applicable laws.
• Participants shall obtain necessary permissions for any third-party music, footage, images, graphics or other content used in the reel.
• Government/BRICS logos, national symbols and official insignia shall be used only in accordance with applicable guidelines and permissions.
• The reel must not contain false information, fabricated statements or misleading representations concerning BRICS, the Government of India, MEA or any BRICS member country.
• Obscene, defamatory, discriminatory, hateful, violent, misleading, politically partisan or otherwise objectionable content shall not be accepted.
• Content affecting national security, public order or India’s diplomatic relations shall not be permitted.
• Deepfakes or manipulated content falsely depicting public officials, foreign leaders or official events shall not be permitted.
• Participants shall obtain appropriate consent from identifiable individuals appearing in the reel, wherever required.
• MyGov/MEA reserve the right to reject, remove or disqualify any entry that does not comply with the contest guidelines.
Gratification / Rewards:
1st Prize – ₹50,000/-
2nd Prize – ₹30,000/-
3rd Prize – ₹20,000/-
Next 10 Top Participants – ₹5,000/- each
The detailed selection and evaluation process shall be as specified by MEA/MyGov.
