The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

#ABCDE of Governance! (Digital India =Action Based Citizen's Digital Empowerment).The Outer layer of logo resembling wheat spike-let is a stream of 1 and 0 representing digital media. The Middle layer orange arrows/ lines depict flow of info from digital media to the citizens (green&orange). Citizens are hand in hand showing empowerment. In the center “Ashoka Chakra” touches the citizens’ heads representing accessibility to Government on demand.

Here Digital India logo contains India Map, Saffron-White-Green colours of indian flag & Blue border. Also "digital india" written mathematically

This entry truly represent my idea of Digital India. The mouse as the most recognizable symbol out lining India. This represent the true goal of digitization when the entire Indian peninsular will be concerned under this ambitious program. it also denotes the synchronization among states. It also lay emphasis on pan India digital infrastructure.
