The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

Innovative Digital logo has 3 basic Circle which is looking like Information Signal spreading out from the Center which means Chakra of India and after signals there is a small circles which is abstract Humans receiving the benefits of Digital India department - Rajesh L
The digital India logo depicted in the map is about the nation transforming into a technologically advance country. The three bands in Saffron, white and green are the optical network which has taken digital technology and communication to a new height. The band also denotes Indian tricolour.

Logo is based on "Shree Yantra(the source of attaing all worldly desisres and fulfilling all wishes)' and on basic logic NOT gate.
