The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

DIGITAL INDIA LOGO
Features:- The Indian map along with the tricolor represents our proud nation. The smooth boundary on the map shows, our acceptance towards any positive change. The numbers zero and one represents the digitalization of our nation. The umbrella is representation of various modules of the project being connected under a single superior. the cities on the bottom side of the umbrella represents the growth of our cities through this project.

Driving through Digitization
1. The middle section with a symbol “i” represents as a pillar of Digitised infrastructure in india.
2. At middle waves in the form of digitized signal as “01010101’’ from centre of ‘’i’’ndia spread in all directions in air representing governance and services on demand in a digitized form for citizen of india.
3. Outer circle with people (as digitized circuit)in a hand to hand represents the citizen of india empowered with digitisation.
