The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

The logo represents the digital infrastructure's spheres of excellence and symbolises friendliness, harmony, integrity and empowerment. The colour ratio and layout represent inclusiveness, diversity and dynamism. This novel and omnidirectional design maximises visual impact and displays correctly in all directions, including reverse, maintaining the logo's power and recall strength from 2x2 cm to any size across all languages & cultures, unifying multiple ideas under one vision.

The main concept of my design is Circuit which is the main unit of electronic or digital devices.Now days we are all connected through digital media.To visualize the logo,By using Ashoka Chakra like structure through circuit concept which represents the digital empowerment of citizens and the circle represents,we all the citizen are surrounded by Digital Infrastructures in India.

Logo 3 Saffron , green , white representing tricolor. India located on globe with binary digits (bird view) convey the digitization of our motherland "digital eye from the sky". this logo also reflects the very essence of our country through our national emblem.
