The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

together
with the Ashoka Chakra near it,
Representing India.
Colors used: Saffron, White,
Blue and Green (Colors from
the National Flag of India.)

Logo 1 Saffron , green , white representing tricolor. The letters "Digital India" themselves convey digitization. This logo also reflects the very essence of our country through our national emblem

The main concept of my design is Circuit which is the main unit of
electronic or digital devices.Now days we are all connected through
digital media.To visualize the logo,By using Ashoka Chakra like
structure through circuit concept which represents the digital
empowerment of citizens and the circle represents,we all the citizen are
surrounded by Digital Infrastructures in India.

The most remarkable and visible feature of the digitalization is the visibility of 'dish antennae', which forms the base of the logo. The crop sticks ahead represents the rural representation in tri-color's.
