The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

theme- digital 1's and 0's,
the big 1 behind the big 0 (reflects proudness of india for which we invented 0) as u can see, and 4 people with tricolour representing people of india centered around nodes of connection of digital circuit.the big no 0 is resting on 1 in the front view.

Driving through Digitization
1. The middle section with a symbol “i” represents as a pillar of Digitised infrastructure in india.
2. At middle waves in the form of digitized signal as “01010101’’ from centre of ‘’i’’ndia spread in all directions in air representing governance and services on demand in a digitized form for citizen of india.
3. Outer circle with people (as digitized circuit)in a hand to hand represents the citizen of india empowered with digitisation.
