The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

A simple but attractive logo! The Indian flag taking the shape of the globe represents that India digital technologies would soon spread over the entire globe. The Saffron & Green part of the flag and its base(consisting of 1-0-1-0 bits pattern) is representing the digitized face of India. This logo truly represents India and is adding a lot to the glory of our great nation.
