The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

It includes the first letters of Digital India where letter D is formed from analog and I from digits (1 below 0 ). Earlier for any information sought by the citizen comes via the descending order of the representatives finally to seeker, this process consumes time sometimes cannot reach the seeker, even to know that it takes time. but the digitalis ed era is depicted well in the letter i where in the seeker can know whether he can go through the information ('1') or not ('0') instantaneously.

This logo shows a tri color of India and sign of a capitalization with finger pointer and its mention to digital.

India should no more resist change, it must move and go forward. The chakra represents the dynamism of a peaceful change. Digital India Program is an initiative in this direction. A progressive change which will encompass the length and width of the nation. Digital India is an era of moving forward. The arrow in the national colors depict the same feeling. This age of new India will be inclusive and dynamic yet we will strongly hold on to the essence of Indianism, which is love and brotherhood.
