The Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY) is proposing a national programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas, namely by providing digital infrastructure as a utility to every citizen, providing governance & services on demand and digital empowerment of citizens. This task seeks inputs to design a Logo for Digital India initiative. The last date of submission is 1st September 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000.

around of ashok chakra electro magnetic wave are flowing around shows the sign of network, covorage, those waves coloured as our indian tricolor flag, name is written in android font which indicates the digitalization .at bottom side i have given a tag line as i am suggesting, i.e. connecting heart to heart, means this forum is to go upto every person at any level through digitalization.

Concept-Hasta Mudras is an ancient visual feature,known to every Indian.The hand mudra on the top has fingers spreading out,depicting growth.The lower hand mudra has fingers spread out,letting the fruits of growth flow into the society.Both the palm come together at one point depicting that both growing and giving happens simultaneously.The Tri colour represent our Flag.The binary numbers filling the palms represent advancing with a new language.This language,is becoming part of our civilization

This logo contains the map of India which has tri colors of India and is merged with the digits which denotes Technology and digitalization and is bounded by human figures denoting available for all technology, the center has got blue colored human figures which make the wheel and inside it are technological equipments and the outer boundary is blue the royal color and inside is yellow used for joy and happiness. It is made up in photoshop the human wheel is made up in coral draw.
