Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI) in collaboration with MyGov, is conducting an online logo designing competition where citizens are invited to show their creative brilliance and create a suitable Logo that not only embodies the Ministry's commitment to accurate statistics but also depicts the Ministry's purpose and impact on a national scale and what the Ministry stands for. This would help in the popularization and broader outreach of the Ministry. The Selected entity shall be adopted as the official logo, to be used by MoSPI for official purposes.
GRATIFICATIONS
a. The finally selected Logo designer will get a prize of Rs 20,000/-.
b. Winners will be invited at the Statistics Day 2024 for felicitation and receiving a Prize.
Technical Criteria
1. Participants should only upload the logo in JPEG / PNG / SVG / PDF format.
2. The logo should be designed in color. The designed logo shall be provided in both CMYK and RGB formats. The size of the logo may vary from 5cm*5cm to 60cm*60cm in either portrait or landscape.
3. The Logo should be usable on the website / social media such as Twitter / Facebook and on printed materials such as black and white press releases, stationery and signage, labels, etc.
4. The Logo should be designed on a digital platform. The Winner shall be required to provide the original open-source file of the designed. Participants should ensure that original designs are submitted.
5. The file should be of high resolution – at least 300 pixels per inch at 100% size.
6. The file should look clean (not pixilated or bit-mapped) when viewed on-screen at 100%.
7. Entries should not be submitted in compressed or self-extracting formats.
Selection Process
1. All the entries received by the stipulated date and found in order would be assessed by a committee of judges for selecting the entries. The decision of the Committee shall be final and binding. The Committee will shortlist the entries and will decide the winner if an entry is found suitable.
2. Entries would be judged based on elements of creativity, originality, composition, technical excellence, simplicity, artistic merit, and visual impact and how well they communicate the vision of MoSPI. The winners will be declared via the Winner announcement blog (blog.mygov.in). There will be no notification to participants not selected as winners.
3. MoSPI may add/remove any relevant criteria for evaluating the logos received in response to this competition at its sole discretion and determination.
4. The decision of MoSPI with respect of evaluation methodology and shortlisting of logos will be final; no clarifications would be issued to any participants or on any decision of the Selection Committee.
5. MoSPI reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the logos without assigning any reason thereof.
6. There will be only one winner for the Logo.
7. The winner shall be required to provide the original open-source file of the designed logo.
