The visitors, who intend to visit an office of the government, find it hard to get entry in the office due to the time taken for processing their visit request and subsequently issuing the pass. An attempt has been made to simplify this process by introducing a web based solution for Visitor Management System (eVisitors).
Visitors are provided with facility to register their visit request in advance through eVisitors (http://eVisitors.nic.in). This system facilitates the citizens through online registration of all the requests for entry - pass / meeting request / visitor slip or pass to the government officers. The citizens can also track status of their request through this site.
Government offices can access the Management Information System (MIS) known as eVisitorMIS (http://eVisitors.nic.in/eVisitorMIS) for management of their visitors.
Citizens are invited to design/suggest a suitable logo for the Visitor Management System (eVisitors).
The last date of submission is 29th April, 2015
The selected entry will be awarded a prize of Rs. 50,000/-.

The circles in the logo is designed to show human beings connected i.e meeting of visitors with the government authorities. The ‘V’ like shape in blue is to denote letter ‘v’ for visitors. The complete logo in in circle which implies that all over India you can take pass to visit government offices. The color of the logo is taken as national flag color.

The logo is formed with the basic letter ‘V’ for Visitors. The two ends of letter ‘V’ is converted to denote 2 human beings, one visitor & another government authority. Overall the symbol also seems to look like a happy human face with 2 eyes & one nose.

My idea of the logo is a group of visitors surrounding the National Emblem of India inscribed on the symbol of internet. That describes that visitors can reach the Government through the electronic means like Internet.

The logo indicates a visitor gaining access directly to the concerned department officer by gaining visitor card through e-method. The colours used are tri colours of th INdian flag to make it part of the Indian system and the tag line along shows the government inviting the common man to be part not only of good governance but also QUICK governance
