Make in India has also encouraged young Indians to think about entrepreneurship and innovation. Instead of only looking for jobs, many young people are becoming creators, inventors, and business owners. Government programmes supporting startups, skill development, and local manufacturing have contributed to this changing mindset.
Another important aspect is “Atmanirbhar Bharat,” or self-reliant India. The experience of recent years has shown the importance of having strong domestic production and supply chains. Make in India can help India become more self-reliant while also producing high-quality goods for international markets.
However, there are still challenges. India needs better infrastructure, efficient logistics, skilled workers, easier access to finance, and continued investment in research and development. Manufacturing should also grow in an environmentally responsible way.
