Waste disposal schemes and recycling of waste should be strenghthened as in case of Gulf countries. Fines should be imposed for urination, spitting, putting wastes in public places. Public toilets should be cleaned regularly. A waste management system should be opened with grassroot level effects in the country. UAE Model is a best example of garbage management which can be implemented in our country.

Cleanliness and security mesures can go hand in hand in urban areas:
Private investments or PPP model can be used to draw investments for installation of CCTV cameras and monitoring systems in all major cities and a fine (penality) system can be introduced where offenders of cleanlines can be penalised with mobile fine collecting booths

I lived in Vadodara & really liked the concept of door to door waste collection by Municipal coorporation. Concept of waste collection should be adopted from Western countries, where household segregate biodegradable/ other waste. Once this garbage is collected- best is to use it for waste to energy generation-Pune Municipal corporation is already doing it with help of Companies like L&T, RoChem. Here deal should be between Municipal Corp & Company. Households should be segregating the waste

We can put the automated dustbins on the roads, malls, residential area. When the dustinbin is going to fill with the waste it automatically inform the person by sms who is collecting the waste from the dustbins in that area. by this the person will know where the waste is generating fast and he will reach there and empty the dustbins.
Actually this system is currently running in USA.They call this system big bellysolar.
I hope government apply this sys. in India

Lay large pipes (up to 60 Inches dia) along the banks of waterways (rivers, canals etc) where effluents, untreated sewage etc are poured in to. Provide junctions to connect the untreated effluents etc to this pie line with manhole facility. This should take the effluents to a treatment plant outside the city to produce manure and water for irrigation.
This approach will free up the water flow and help it to heal itself and free up precious govt real-estate (Cooum River, Chennai TN)

The system consists of bifurcation of the Pilot geographical area in to tiny units as seen on the Google maps. Each tiny unit is jointly owned by the occupants. The area occupied by the government authorities also should be identified. The school children going in vans etc will look around and remember these spots. As the children assemble for the Prayer meet, they will also spare a fix time to register these spots will the help of teachers on the government site. A suitable penalty system reqd
