Self advocates are those who are taking control of their own lives, including being in charge of their own medical needs. The self-advocacy movement is about people with disabilities speaking up for themselves and motivating others to take charge of their lives too. It means that although a person with a disability may call upon the support of others, the individual is entitled to be in control of their own resources and how they are directed. It is about having the right to make life decisions without undue influence or control by others.
Who can participate?
The self advocates from the focus group; with developmental and intellectual disabilities
Categories of submitting entries:

Topics:
1. The World will love to hear your Success Stories. Share with us.
2. An article on how an institution can be made friendly towards people with developmental and intellectual disabilities
3. What are the barriers faced in your Journey and how you overcome it?
4. A note on the special techniques that can be adopted towards inclusion of focus group.

Compare Few THERMAL power plants. First do analysis of normal thermal power plants under operation.
THEN
Consider A thermal power plant that does not use steam. Instead of steam this plant directly uses gases generated during combustion for power generation.

Usually thermal power plants reject lot of heat to A reservoir. Think of adding 1 more thermal power plant that uses this rejected heat for power generation.

Increasing energy efficiency is very LUCRATIVE topic.
These ideas can be tried on hit and trial basis to increase energy efficiency :
Compare energy efficiency of 2 windmills of equal size under identical conditions. First windmill has vertical blades and second windmill has horizontal blades. I am saying so because if windmill is vertical then it may not rotate if wind flows in a direction perpendicular to windmill. There are vertical windmills that rotate with direction of wind.

1. Solar cookers could have been distributed along with LPG under प्रधान मंत्री उज्ज्वला योजना ( Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana ).
2. Solar cookers can be used in summers or during day time.
3. There is Lot of open space in villages and solar cookers can be easily used in villages.

AAj mai aur mere dost dono subah ghumne nikle, achanak hamne dekha raste ke pas ek chota aam ka per haya se gir gaya hai, tab hamne us per ko khara kiya aur mitti se uska jar majbut kiya. Asal me per lagana bari bat nahi, uska dekhval karna vi hamara kartabya hai.

Reformative action is needed for performance/outcome oriented administration in all govt departments. Why we are not able recognise the talented/sincere/dedicated officers in giving incentives like promotion based on outstanding performance of an officer. Pl do encourage/motivate people to work for developed India in all spheres.
