The Government of India has been observing Rashtriya Ekta Diwas every year on October 31 to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of United India. Every year, a national-level event is organized at Ekta Nagar featuring the Ekta Parade (with participation from State Police Forces and Central Armed Police Forces), cultural programs, display events, tableaux presentations, school bands, etc.
Tableaux constitute an integral part of the celebrations, showcasing India’s shared identity and rich cultural diversity while reflecting the nation’s commitment to unity, integrity, and security. This year, it has been decided to directly involve students from across the country in conceptualising/designing the Tableaux for the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations.
The Ministry of Home Affairs in collaboration with MyGov has invited Creative Ideas/concept from school, college, and university students for designing the tableaux to be showcased during the Rashtriya Ekta Parade–2026 at Ekta Nagar, Gujarat.
