Kakinada city is the headquarters of East Godavari District.It is one of the fastest developing cities in Andhra Pradesh with a population of 3,25,985 (as per 2011 census). It is the 4th largest city by area and 7th largest by population in Andhra Pradesh. Kakinada over’s an area of 31.69 sq.km. It is located at 16.930N 82.220E.The 82-degrees east longitude passes through the city. Population Density within the city is 10,287(as per 2011 census). Kakinada has a tropical savanna climate with hot, humid weather most of the year. The average annual rainfall in the area is 1186 mm. Kakinada is the base for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation’s Eastern Offshore Asset. According to 2011 census, literacy rate of the city is 81%.Kakinada city has a diversified economic base. The pillars of the city’s economy are ports, marine, education, tourism, administration and trade, and commerce and industrial sectors.

Arrange wireless street lights on MAIN Road and remove the unnecessary electric lines which are causing more congestion to the business complexes.
Grow less space occupied trees to control the pollution.
Make sure to construct the proper foot paths to the pedestrians
Construct the Vehicle parking tower to control the vehicles parked on the roads
Construction of Underground Drainage:
Lack of proper drainage system in the city leads to major problems like Uncleanness of main roads, mosquitos growth, rain water will mix with drain water and overflows on the roads. Arrange solar panels on top of the big canals & drains to generate the solar power which will be used for street lights.
every city should be protected from different pollution's especially noice pollution which was emitted by various religious centers.Govt. was given clear instruction for controlling noice pollutions. Due to various reasons the complaints was not received by concern authotities.
The Smart city should have smart connection. Smarty city should be connected to daily commuters, Tourist, Railways, Public safety authorities, shipping ports, Airport, Freight carriers and to government dept.. The Smart city should have Bio Gas station & the Bio gas can be extracted from Human Waste for this the main drainage should be used to collect the bio gas which is released from human waste and thus the Bio Gas can be used to generate electricity and this bio gas can also be used as fuel in vehicle similar to that of CNG and LPG and it can also be used as cooking gas.
