Kakinada city is the headquarters of East Godavari District.It is one of the fastest developing cities in Andhra Pradesh with a population of 3,25,985 (as per 2011 census). It is the 4th largest city by area and 7th largest by population in Andhra Pradesh. Kakinada over’s an area of 31.69 sq.km. It is located at 16.930N 82.220E.The 82-degrees east longitude passes through the city. Population Density within the city is 10,287(as per 2011 census). Kakinada has a tropical savanna climate with hot, humid weather most of the year. The average annual rainfall in the area is 1186 mm. Kakinada is the base for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation’s Eastern Offshore Asset. According to 2011 census, literacy rate of the city is 81%.Kakinada city has a diversified economic base. The pillars of the city’s economy are ports, marine, education, tourism, administration and trade, and commerce and industrial sectors.

Hey i am virinchi a 4th year B.TECH planning student from SPA,JNAFAU .My designs are more of a eco friendly ,low cost,disabled and old age friendly . Designs are purely made by myself .

Temple Street
1. Road widening is to be done
2. Parking is to be provided on both sides of the road
3. Temporary encroachments on the road are to be removed
4. Street Lighting is to be improved
5. Dust bins are to be provided at regular intervals
6. Drainage system is to be maintained properly
7. Traffic signals are to be provided at major junctions

Main ROad
1. Temporary encroachments are to be removed
2. Drainage system to be improved
3. Flyovers and underpasses are to be provided wherever necessary
4. Dust bins are to be provided and segregation is to be done
5. Footpath is to be repaired and maintained
6. Traffic signals are to be provided at major junctions
