One of the most important peaceful applications of nuclear energy is the generation of electricity. Nuclear power plants produce large amounts of electricity with very low greenhouse gas emissions. Unlike fossil fuels such as coal and oil, nuclear power helps reduce air pollution and supports efforts to combat climate change. Many countries rely on nuclear energy to meet their growing energy demands while reducing carbon emissions. Applications in Healthcare Nuclear technology has transformed modern medicine. Radioisotopes are used to diagnose diseases through medical imaging techniques such as PET and SPECT scans. Radiation therapy is widely used to treat cancer by destroying harmful cells while protecting healthy tissues. Sterilisation of medical equipment using radiation also helps prevent infections and improves patient safety.

India targets 100 GW of nuclear capacity by 2047, its independence centenary, up from today's 8.8 GW. Interim goal: 22 GW by 2031–32. NPCIL will build 54 GW through indigenous reactors; the remaining 46 GW comes via private and PSU participation. Small modular reactors are key to decentralized, scalable growth.

Here's a polished 8-line comment you can use: > **My painting envisions a future where Nuclear Energy powers a strong, sustainable, and self-reliant India by 2047. It highlights clean energy, scientific innovation, and technological advancement for national development. The artwork showcases the role of nuclear energy in healthcare, agriculture, industry, space research, and energy security. It also reflects India's commitment to reducing carbon emissions while ensuring reliable electricity for all. Through this vision, I celebrate the spirit of Viksit Bharat and the power of science to transform lives. My painting represents hope, progress, and environmental responsibility. Together, we can build a greener, safer, and more prosperous India for future generations. 🇮🇳⚛️
