The quality of life indicators would include safe drinking water, open defecation free village, toilets in individual  houses as well as public places, solid and liquid waste management, cleanliness of all public places as well as individual houses, pucca roads and streets, transport and last mile connectivity, power and street lights, primary health centre, internet connectivity and availability of basic services through common services centre or GP,   reduction in infant mortality rate and maternal mortality rate, etc.)

The roadmap may act as a base/blueprint for formulating the assessment parameters/ targets relevant to a village, and measuring the progress of a village against those parameters on an annual basis. Further, suggestions on how to involve citizens in achievement of these parameters in a time bound manner, so as to create a mass movement, are also invited.

•    How to select targets in reference to the indicators
•    How to measure the progress on the indicators
•    The agency to monitor and maintain records

The task is intended to provide the Ministry with insights on the methodologies for motivating village residents in improving their quality of life, leading to overall development of the village and the society.

The response to the task may be submitted/ uploaded in pdf format only.

Baseline to improve quality of life in the villages: The foundation of our nation is its villages. To make our nation strong, we need strong foundations. For that we need to empower our villages and this can be done with the help of an active Panchayat and peoples participation. For an Active panchayat, we need an active Gram-pradhan who is aware of needs of his/her village and the plan and determination to do that. We can take the following baseline to improve the quality of life in the village

To supplement the work of Pradhan, he could have a small sacrateriat. Here, I am sending some of my ideas that may help.

The quality of life in village can be improved by providing the facilities we mentioned. I understand there are various policies by govt. for people in village But the actual real needy people never gets its benefit at ground level because its unsuccessful implementation, review, corruption. We are just creating policies and declares but we never check, review, collect feedback from villages whether they were actually done or not. I'm attaching the doc related to my village and panchayat for ref

If we want to improve quality life of villages than we have first focus on whats are the problems faced by village mans. These are 1. Bad transportation 2.high cost of medicine & industrial product at local market 3.bad communication(internet) 4.waste most of their money in disease diagnosis 5. unavailability of proper soil testing &disease(plant and animal) diagnosis laboratories 6. excessive power cut and finally proper education that means English medium ,utensil, lab. So we have to over come
