I propose a comprehensive plan for development of rural tourism.SELECT 1 village from each district based on the potentiality for destination development. The element of basis may be a RIVER,a FORT, a UNIQUE PRODUCT,a HILL, a RELIGIOUS SPOT,an ART, a SCENIC BEAUTY, a HANDICRAFT, or an AGRICULTURAL ACTIVITY. Revitalize selected destination by adding another attractive tourism element. POSITION the destination by aggressive PROMOTION. Let the potential tourists feel like visiting the place again.

1)First choose a village where existing road communication is at least manageable. 2)Village should have an information centre giving details of local attraction. 3)Encourage villagers to promote home-stay where tourists can stay with them. 4)Make sure the house-hold that promotes home stay has a proper toilet. 5)Village should organize its local songs or dance events if they have any. 6)Govt appointed tourist guide for that village. 7)Prepare village documentary for promotion.

Govt can easily increase rural tourism of india by making tourist camps near villages and near forest. To promote rural tourism we have to advertise it very vastly and strategically.

There is lots of potentials in rural areas of Maharastra for tourism during monsoon season. Greenery and tracks which are full of environment lovers all the time during monsoon. But all arrangement must be private and no safety and securities on tracks and internal places like Rajmachi, Mulshi ghat provided by government. We can arrange transport and some safety and security measures like first aid clinic and information center, rescue center etc on that identified places.

In our country every locality has its own heritage and valuble cultures. For example Chirala of A.P. famous form handmade silk sariees. And some villiages are famous for our Indian special foods like Poota rekulu, Mysore pak (sweet cake). Kondajjis original temple is destroyed in the name of devolopement during Assembly election and now its left as it is. Lord Vishnu's 15 feel idol of 12th century is attracting people from all round the country but there is no road and even a single facility for the tourists. Hoysalas are the name epic hero's of Karnataka and they r the car eators of UNESCO world heritage towns belur and halebeedu. But there own impression that is Kondajji needs some attention

Kondajji is a small village in hassan district of karnataka., where there stands the 15 feet tall 12th century statue of lord Vishnu erected by hoysala dynasty. Its the incredible statue and cannot be found anywhere in the world. But not even Karnataka state govt and ASI is having concern towards it. I request u to at least provide the road facility and to devolope the temple which is the mark of hoysala dynasty

Conservation steps put to an end to forest exploitation but it creates another problem. The local community which depended entirely on the forest is now in utter poverty. Their sustenance will be at stake These intend to resolve the various serious problems related to the local community, their ownership rights and conservation of natural resources and recognition of the strong ethical dimensions and survival spirit of the local community in a changing world where Ecotourism can prove life suppo
