Continue...employment status of the registered candidates from time to time (possibly expose a webservice that can be accessed by recruitment app of various organisations to update the status shall a registered candidate be hired). In addition, the MIS reporting and skill mapping engine of the Employment Exchanges would have to incorporate logic to propose suitable candidates to the identified vacancies. myGov portal can be a good starting point for registration to Employment Xchanges.

The biggest challenges here are visibility of employment exchanges and their disconnection. 1. Accessibility - More awareness in people about it's existence, more registration channels (including online), seeking help from NGOs etc. 2. Connectivity - The exchanges current seem to have no or limited visibility of open private sector demand. The private sector jobs should also be accessible to employment exchanges. Similarly, there should be a way in which the exchanges can determine

1. Focus on small number of critical services that job aspirants need; use experts, statisticians, opinion polls, big data analysts, university and industry inputs to prioritize 2. Automate and integrate services provided by various central & state govt bodies. They can all use a common enterprise software. In this way, while they remain distinct organisations, they would integrate their services. Job aspirants can register here and get single window service. Employers can also use same portal.

.... Continue..... 2. Employment office representative should arrange a seminar in every school and college in their district at least once in every 6 months. 3. Officer in charge should send list of current opening and closed recently to all schools and colleges. Also try their best to publish this list via post offices in the district . 4. Office in charge should reach out to local corporates to promote their services. 5. Govt should reward performing officers and their staff to motivate.

We do have employment office in almost all district in India but they are providing services because lack off integrity between job providers and job seekers. Private agencies are connecting both side by putting their best effort to show their performance. I would like to propose following to initiate with existing employment exchange- 1. Officer in charge should be reachable during office hours with no excuse and should provide weekly update to the public via social media. ...... Continue..

Problem is Not Employment but of Employability. Concept of Employment Exchange is outlived its use. So it needs a Total Revamp. Enclosing some suggestions to do it at Low Cost with Public Private Partnership - Pl read enclosed document

Employment "Exchange" is outdated - Scrap it - Replace with "Enhancing Employibility Program" - Choose prospective Employees - Train them- Make them ready for the job. There is no dearth of job - what we lack is compatibility to take up the job & that's what EEP should provide. Should include counseling. Private sector HR managers would be happy to volunteer such programs if propagated well. Private facilities can be used free to push this program on mass scale. .

Employment Exchange, visa ( protectorate of emigrants) and passport offices(MEA) should come under one umbrella. The employment exchange should have job search engine and the POE and passport offices should facilitate jobs of carpenter, plumber, nurses, teachers from rural areas to western countries. There are innumerable middle men in POE and Passport offices, if the staff strength is less, surplus from Planning commission may be used for facilitating the work of such integrated organization.
