This task allows you to share inspirational true life-stories that would encourage all stakeholders to work together in overcoming the challenges faced by differently-abled. The desired outcome of such sharing is to positively impact the fate of all related to the domain of “different-abilities” by enabling them to realize that with strong will, a difference can indeed be made in otherwise seemingly difficult conditions.

Volunteerism can greatly help differently-abled children with the support required. United Nations Volunteers from India are supporting a grassroots level initiative for differently-abled children in Churachandpur district in Manipur. Their efforts have been put together in a video in the following link. Hope this inspires others to volunteer for supporting differently abled children.

I have got info that a person who has got severe disability has been achieving a lot in my life. I was made physically disabled due to 3 defective surgeries. I have achieved many things in my life through my self confidence and with the help of my musical career.I cannot sit after my defective surgeries. Now I am undergoing corrective surgeries. I took every problems I faced as a challenge and I overcame them with positive attitude and confidence. Many people lose their self confidence.
