2. To ensure the shift there should be sufficient capacity available to enable most people reach their destinations in predictable time-span. A network of one-way streets will enable designing more efficient bus services that reach more destinations to cater most people. Buses shall be GPS enabled and the smart city app enable citizens to track where the bus they need is. On routes with regular interval stops, autocharging mechanism can be implemented to ply electric buses.

1. Make as many roads one-way as possible. Min 12 ft for dual. Put smart boards to mark if the road is one-way. Can be changed dynamically from control room. Camera alongside to capture wrong side. To start, use satellite image of city to simulate traffic flow in a one-way road system by putting blocks at various positions.

Third answer:- In every bus Gps system is mandatory which is directly connected to App which are present to all publics who want to travel in a bus which helps the public to know the current position of bus or at what time they reach? From where the people want to sit? Otherwise in every bus-stop map is shown which shows the live status of buses and what time they reach to us? Do-ability - Gps is Mandatory to all Buses. Innovation - One app for mobile or map in bus stop. #MeraShaharMeraSapna

Double Ring Road and Tangential Entry and Exit This is a road layout for controlling the traffic congestion during vehicle entry and exit from crowded city. Method can be implemented in already existing city by improving upon already available roads and also implemented perfectly in new city. This method was inspired from the road plan of Thrissur City. Largely improved upon to accommodate current need and future needs too. Detailed in the picture attached.

Improvement in the quality of public transport will encourage people to use it regularly. It will reduce the private vehicles on road and reduce traffic and pollution. Transport ministry should stress on the development of technology in vehicles which will automatically monitor its driving. This will help to reduce road accidents. In buses, all the window seats should be reserved for womens instead of reserving first 4-6 seats. This will help women seat comfortably in rush hours.

Roads can be widened, deployment of traffic police at places where most jams occur, traffic signals with cctv and solar panels. The number of buses plying between two points should be increased, the cost of bus ticket needs to be reduced which will attract car goers to travel in bus because of lower expense than a car, tax should be according to the mileage of a vehicle/car,air conditioned buses, etc. CCTV should be installed in all buses, air conditioned, comfortable seats, use of GAS, etc.
