#SmartCitySmartLiving 1.Instead of timer based traffic lights AI TRAFFIC LIGHTS with cam should be used to give priority to more busier routes. 2.There should be 2 cabs for each bus.And private cabs like OLA,MERU etc should be limited. 3.Installing cctv in buses.Using mobile apps to track the bus timing ,route, plate no,conductor & driver info using the route no of the bus.Using app to send the above info to family if needed.Improving employees attitude towards traffic rules and people.

In big cities rush hrs are usually office opening closing hrs in my opinion different offices should have different opening and closing time like few offices should open at 9am others may at 10am few others may open at11 am by this we can reduce rush on roads.

2.One motorcar carries 4 people comfortably; one public bus carries 40 people comfortably. How can a smart city balance the needs of the car and the bus? •Govt. should run Public Domestic Transport within the city for around 20 km radius free of cost. This will encourage people to prefer Pubic Bus rather than private Car or Bikes. •A smart city should ensure Safety, Security and Availability of Buses for the commoners. Establishment of Govt. food centres in Govt. bus helps commuters save time.

1.Suggestion on innovative technology for conveniently dealing with traffic congestion outside your home. •Unmanned Smart Traffic Signal Systems that automatically clears the traffic depending on the density of the lane can be deployed. •Changes in the Office timings in Metros, i.e., a certain sector can be encouraged Office timings from 7.30 to 3.30 and others from 9.00 to 5.00 and others from 10.30 to 6.30. •Promote usage of Electric powered bi-cycles and strict laws to violaters.

Traffic congestion: Dynamic traffic signal timing based on machine learning. Also, we should make exclusive streets for pedestrians and bicyclists, so for short distances, people don't use cars/bikes. Bus vs car: Cars should not be needed for usual commute. Most parts of the city should be accessible by bus/other public transport or cycle. Bus improvements: We should have electric buses, seat belt and GPS equipped, and use smart card/smart phones(NFC) for quick payments.

the encroachments on side of road should be removed this will solve of many problems,2)public transport should be made comfortable as this will help in reducing pollution which is faced by every city and people should be made aware of sharing-vehicle idea i.e if the destinations are same then people can share the vehicles, can applied to office going people.3)for safety police should take help of technology in this era an app should be programmed which connects directly with control room
