I am a volunteer of NSS (National Service Scheme) of our college. We have our event of Rakhi-selling during the festival of Raksha Bandhan. The rakhis and other accessories exhibited are made by students of Shri. Vallabhdas Dagara Institute for Specially-abled. As the NSS unit being a NPO, all the income of our 4 day event goes to the institute. Here are some snaps of the event
I am a part of an NGO called MAD (make a difference). IT is an amazing initiative that has been taken to help the underprivileged with their studies by providing them with after school support. This organization also helps kids realize their dreams and their true potential. I would be extremely honored if I were able to contribute much more than this.
I am associated with an NGO named Santosh set up for help of mentally challenged child. In India we recognised only phisical specially abled child. However, a major challange is to help a child with mental disorder. The number is growing due to society is not well aware, lack of facility for them to become self reliant. These child are abandon by there near and dear.

We at PCCAI are dedicated for expanding and promoting the game and increase its visibility in our country and among various nations. Ours is just a non-government organization and do not have any from the Board of Cricket Control of India, but still have enough ambitions and commitment to bring glory to these handicapped youths all over the world. Our association`s responsibilities include management of the game at the highest level and the organization of various domestic tournaments
We (parents of children having genetic disorder Prader Willi Syndrome) formed a NGO trust, funded by parents who can contribute. We got associated with international body IPWSO, to get recent updates. We educate parents on how to take care of children suffering from PWS. We contacted many doctors all over India, and there are many reputed endocrinologists together with us give proper guidance to families as there is no cure so far for this disorder. In 2-3 years we organize family get together.
I have mentioned in my earlier response about the AIDS rehab centre.
I want to add that I have not disclosed the name of the AIDS shelter home so that it won't be revealed. That will add to their troubles.

Am a lead volunteer at a NGO in Mangalore, Karnataka.
I want to bring to the government's notice the pathetic condition of a AIDS shelter home here.
We are working hard to support this place, but need some help from government.
The officials at the shelter home do not disclose the place as AIDS rehab to prevent complaints from the narrow minded neighbors.
The shelter home is a rented place with 70,000 rent due. A fear of they being asked to move out.
Deteriorating health & Deaths often &..
