How can the latest advances in digital technologies, including use of mobile phones, big data analytics and other information technology solutions be deployed in Smart Cities. The entries may be in descriptive answer types and may use pictures or videos to explain the answers better.
All questions in this category must be answered to be considered as a complete submission and to be eligible for short-listing.
Questions
1. List three municipal services that can be improved with the use of a mobile phone.
2. Describe 3 aspects of your daily life that have improved with the use of the mobile phone.
3. Suggest 5 ways in which the use of big data can make Indian cities into smart cities.
4. Mention 3 new ways that information technology can improve Governance.
5. How can access to information and data make our public spaces safe and secure?
Entry Deadline
• Entries may be submitted online on the mygov.in portal latest by 23.59 hours (11.59 pm) on Saturday, 20th June 2015.
Evaluation
The submissions will be evaluated on the following criteria:
• Do-ability (50%)
• Innovation (50%)
Award
Two winners in each category will be awarded a citation from the Prime Minister at the Smart City Mission Launch on June 25th, 2015 at VigyanBhavan, New Delhi, along witha cash prize of the following amounts:
Rs. 40,000 - First Prize
Rs. 25,000 - Second Prize

The winning ideas would be shared with the 100 SmartCities as potentiallyimplementablesolutions and will be considered for pilot

• All questions in a particular category must be answered to be considered as a complete submission and to be eligible for short-listing.
• The participants(s) entries will be judged for each category independently and on merit. In case of short listing in more than one category, a participant will receive prize money for one category only.
• The length of each answer is limited to 250 words or less.

Ans for Q 4 Use aadhar card help to get criminals with minimum time as it has finger prints, eye prints etc. Connect MYGOV to the various website's speeddial, and inspire people to make its maximum use in their lives. Make one man one bank account, to minimise corruption. that account can be handeled from any banks.

ques3-ans1-Increase in house production means area which is having its own production of the particular product by which the area is renownned should be consider as follows for example if Bhagalpur is famous for silk thenfocus of the system to increase production of silk it reduce the product cost increase consupmtion and involment of local people increase and they will get job 2-if bigdata indicates large no of youths then Scheme of Tech Park should launch 3-Hospital 4-Transport 5-Education

Ans for Q2 various schemes of govt by reading online Yojna magazine, employement news newspaper, mygov info. Online RTI helpes and improves quality of various govt works. can contact with mla, mp getting contact numbers from ECI website and for police, hospital, railway etc. by getting from that website.

Ans for Q1 Next water supply date and timing by sms for registered numbers for respective wards. via whatsapp user can send photos of any bad conitions problems to the the municipalty, municipalty have to answer in 7 days. if there is any educational or health camp in any ward, sms to registered numbers.
