How can the latest advances in digital technologies, including use of mobile phones, big data analytics and other information technology solutions be deployed in Smart Cities. The entries may be in descriptive answer types and may use pictures or videos to explain the answers better.
All questions in this category must be answered to be considered as a complete submission and to be eligible for short-listing.
Questions
1. List three municipal services that can be improved with the use of a mobile phone.
2. Describe 3 aspects of your daily life that have improved with the use of the mobile phone.
3. Suggest 5 ways in which the use of big data can make Indian cities into smart cities.
4. Mention 3 new ways that information technology can improve Governance.
5. How can access to information and data make our public spaces safe and secure?
Entry Deadline
• Entries may be submitted online on the mygov.in portal latest by 23.59 hours (11.59 pm) on Saturday, 20th June 2015.
Evaluation
The submissions will be evaluated on the following criteria:
• Do-ability (50%)
• Innovation (50%)
Award
Two winners in each category will be awarded a citation from the Prime Minister at the Smart City Mission Launch on June 25th, 2015 at VigyanBhavan, New Delhi, along witha cash prize of the following amounts:
Rs. 40,000 - First Prize
Rs. 25,000 - Second Prize

The winning ideas would be shared with the 100 SmartCities as potentiallyimplementablesolutions and will be considered for pilot

• All questions in a particular category must be answered to be considered as a complete submission and to be eligible for short-listing.
• The participants(s) entries will be judged for each category independently and on merit. In case of short listing in more than one category, a participant will receive prize money for one category only.
• The length of each answer is limited to 250 words or less.

ues1 ans-1-suppose municipal committee want to organise awarenes camp for cleanness and healthy environment or want to vist area for services or interact with the people for knowing the problems can easily send the masseges to the people of that area with the help of technology and at a time many people will get information about muncipality event or work in their area. 2-Muncipality can Generate Whatsapp no so that people can upload vedio and images of problem 3-develope app for muncipality

1. medical/utility service drive info, citizen connect, billing & payments 2. information update, service search, people connect 3. real time traffic & air/env monitoring, cctv & security, detailed maps, citizen info 4. feedback driven processes, global reach-out platform, analytics for common problem & solution 5. involve citizens by providing info & channels to proactively register minor security breach and suspicious observation & alert govt surveillance & preventive monitoring

#municipal: Weather info, Grievance redressal, Schemes and Notices #aspect: Save IMP Documents, Info of scheme,GR or reminders, Positive motivation in morning #bighdata: Skill Development, Healthcare, Traffic Analysis, Water and Energy Management, Vertical Farming #governance: Use of Google forms, Use of App for various Section, services for handicap persons #Accessinfosafe: Linking mobile number with aadharcard so that only valid user will get info or by providing security cameras

#MeraShaharMeraSapna #SmartCity Instead of ration card, every family has given a unique Id which is updated on Govt Websites with full family members details with their birth to profession information. Due to this we can equally count the data. That unique id become the Family Information in.which added all document. So that if i have some work in municiple, on that time no need to.rush for documents. just give that unique id

Answer 1 . municipal services can be improved with mobile technology are : - A. Basic Complaint / Request can be taken on time with location for water, Electricity, Sanitation etc. B. Citizens can meet officers via mobile app. C. from mobile we can submit basic information in advance for various certificate. D. Fire brigade / Ambulance / Police service can be improved with real time location.

8. Govt and other service providers must train their employees and grant them appointment/promotion on acquiring these skills. 9. Above all, apps must be so easy to handle that a child or an semi-literate person can use it.
