Vadnagar-Virasat Bhi Vikas Bhi Reel Competition

To encourage citizens, particularly youth, to creatively document and promote Vadnagar's rich heritage and showcase its development journey through engaging digital storytelling.

The Vadnagar: Virasat Bhi, Vikas Bhi Reel Competition is an initiative of the Government of Gujarat to encourage citizens, especially youth, to creatively showcase the unique blend of Vadnagar's rich historical heritage and its journey of development and progress through short video reels.

Participants are invited to create original reels highlighting Vadnagar's historical monuments, archaeological heritage, cultural traditions, tourism potential, modern infrastructure, development initiatives and the harmonious coexistence of its glorious past with its progressive present.

The competition aims to promote public participation, digital engagement and awareness about Vadnagar as a destination where heritage and development go hand in hand.

Theme / Topic of the Competition

Participants may create reels on the following theme: “Vadnagar: Virasat Bhi, Vikas Bhi”

The reels may creatively highlight:

• Vadnagar's ancient historical and archaeological heritage
• Historical monuments and places of cultural significance
• Vadnagar's rich traditions, art and cultural identity
• Tourism development and emerging tourism experiences
• Modern infrastructure and development initiatives
• The transformation of Vadnagar while preserving its heritage
• The connection between Vadnagar's glorious past and its promising future
• Heritage and development moving together

Technical Parameters for Submission

1. Resolution: Minimum 720p
2. Duration: 30 to 60 Seconds
3. Language: Gujarati, Hindi or English
4. Originality: Reels must be creatively created and edited by the participant. The use of stock images/footage is permitted. AI-generated content and copyrighted material used without permission are not permitted.

Gratification

• 1st Prize: ₹31,000/-
• 2nd Prize: ₹21,000/-
• 3rd Prize: ₹11,000/-
