The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.
Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!
Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens. Please formulate your vision statement for Pasighat (preferably in less than 50 words) and submit on www.mygov.in
The prize money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd position is Rs. 11000, Rs.7000 and Rs.5000 respectively.
The last date to submit your entries is 12th November, 2015.

The growing population in pasighat has put tremendous pressure in water supply and water management the exercise to set standards for services water supply should be improve. The ministry of Urban development, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh must recommended 24x7 water supply as a norm for all citizens of Pasighat

Despite of a well built city is devoid of some Essential and much basic Infrastructure like Strom Water Drainage, Sewerage, Solid Waste Management which needs to be Establish in very city..

Pasighat is a beautiful and attracting sun rises of Pasighat is loved by people from different places often make trips. The valley of still Siang and plains of its lap should be can't a best of Tourism among all besides hotels, park are needed to be set up for the better lodging and all.

Vision for smart pasighat
Though the high way was facilitated through the city. The road side pathways pedestrians walkways with in the city still remains too narrow for transportation means therefore this lanes needs to be widen or made a little more comfortable.

my vision for pasighat smart city
1.All the roads made up of modern method of concreting like using natural rubber mixture cement conceretc as binder so that wearing of roads should be minimized.
2.Heavy traffic is major concern to this city to minimize that proper traffic signal system over bridges one way system speed limits should be made strictly flowed.
