The Economic Survey 2017-18 has been tabled in the Parliament on 29th January. The Survey projected that the real GDP growth for 2017-18 averaged 6.75% and nominal GDP growth to be 10.5%. The real GDP growth for year 2018-19 is projected to be 7 – 7.5%.

Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh has initiated a contest to suggest a tagline for Uttar Pradesh Tourism which will give glimpses of vast tourism potential available in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

The quiz was designed to test the knowledge of the citizens on initiatives, schemes, efforts and various other steps taken by the Government led by PM Narendra Modi, ensuring the goal of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas”.

Ministry of Human Resource and Development invited citizens’ suggestions and ideas on Draft IIM Bill 2015 through a public discussion on MyGov. Several of these responses have been reflected in the IIM ACT 2017 which envisages greater autonomy and empowerment to students to grant degrees instead of diplomas.
