A Call for Action Research Proposal on different aspects of Gandhian Philosophy and thoughts was conducted by Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti in coordination with MyGov. Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti had sought applications for research on Gandhian Philosophy for the year 2017-18.

PCRA had organised ‘Design a Mascot for Petroleum Conservation Research Association’ Contest. The contest was conducted with a view to seeking great mascot designing and name ideas for PCRA. A large number of qualitative entries were received for the contest.

Oil and Gas Conservation Fortnight (OGCF) is an event of great importance for Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. The event is organised jointly by Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) & Oil and Gas companies of public sector every year. This time, PCRA had conducted an Online Tagline Contest in association with MyGov for OGCF.

In less than two years of its launch, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) (2016-20), the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has taken multi-fold strides. The scheme has achieved a landmark milestone of 3,16,671 placements (as on February 2018). With nearly 55 percent successful placements, the Short-Term Training Program (STT) under PMKVY (2016-20) is an effective, refined and demand-driven endeavor, with an over-riding focus on the quality of training.

Commemorating the International Women’s Day, Skill India salutes the grit, the determination and the aspiration of women across India, who are determined to change their lives through skill training. Since its launch in July 2015, the Skill India Mission, a mega drive initiated by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), has transformed lives of over 35.56 Lakh women through skill training; empowering them for better and secured livelihood.

Out of the multiple entries received, few were shortlisted for their commendable inputs. Post evaluations, many of the entries were appreciated by the evaluation committee.

“Diwali e-greetings Design Contest 2015” was organized under the Digital India Program of Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY). Diwali is one of the most celebrated festivals of India. Being the most popular festivals of Hinduism, it signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil and hope over despair. The celebration is marked by the millions of lamps shining on housetops, outside doors, windows and wherever the festival is observed.
