Jabalpur Municipal Corporation has received overwhelming response from citizens under all citizen participation activity.

The administrative responsibilities of the New Delhi are managed by the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) area.

As part of citizen engagement & consultation process (for preparation of Smart City Proposal) Tirupati Municipal Corporation organized a wide range of activities – e.g. Ward level consultations, Stakeholders Consultations, essay writing competition etc starting from 1st Oct 2015 to 20th Nov 2015.

Citizens participated in an essay competition “Mere sapno ka KARNAL” (Hindi), “My dream city KARNAL” (English) for developing the vision statements for proposed Smart City.

Smart City Mission is now in its final phase of citizen engagement. Haldia Municipality has initiated this process of citizen consultations of the “Smart City Challenge” where the Pan-city smart solutions and Area Based Development proposal has been drafted.

Panaji Smart City Open Forum debate discussed issues related to Mobility, Heritage and Waste Management.

Indore Municipal Corporation launched its Citizen Engagement Program for Smart City Mission.

The Ministry of Urban Development has selected Panaji to submit its Smart City Proposal and participate in the 100 Smart Cities Challenge.

Cycle Rally Event A cycling rally was held on 16th October 2015 with cycling enthusiasts from across Goa led by Cycling Goa and the participants of the Goa International Mountain Bike Challenge (GIMBC) which started off at Divja Circle till Gaspar Dias, Miramar via various streets of Panaji City.
