Cycle Rally Event A cycling rally was held on 16th October 2015 with cycling enthusiasts from across Goa led by Cycling Goa and the participants of the Goa International Mountain Bike Challenge (GIMBC) which started off at Divja Circle till Gaspar Dias, Miramar via various streets of Panaji City.

In the imagination of any city dweller in India, the picture of a Smart City contains a wish list of infrastructure and services that describes his or her level of aspiration.

An essay competition on the theme “My Panaji, Smart Panaji” saw an overwhelming response of 1522 submissions.

As per the Smart City Mission Guidelines citizens engagement is mandatory activity at all level with respect to preparation of smart city challenge stage 2 proposal.

Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India has encouraged piloting and scaling up of innovations and good practices to improve health outcomes. It is an essential part of National Health Mission and the states are supported to pilot & field test innovations.

According to Census 2011, there are 2.68 crore persons with disabilities in India, who constitute 2.21% of the total population.However, estimates vary across sources and in reality this figure could be much higher.
