The Government of India issued guidelines for the promotion of payments through cards and digital means on 29th February, 2016. The guidelines can be seen (here). A Committee was also constituted under the Chairmanship of Shri Ratan P Watal, Principal Advisor, NITI Ayog and Former Finance Secretary with key industry stakeholders, RBI and concerned Government Departments to review medium term measures necessary to promote the digital payment system in the Country. The Committee’s report can be seen here.

The Department of Economic Affairs, Government of India invites public Comments / suggestions on the report. We invite you to read the report and provide your valuable feedback and suggestions by 11th January 2017. The final decision on the Report will be taken after considering the comments/suggestions received on the Report.

Dear PM Sir, you are taking good efforts for cashless economy and digital payments and we are always with you. but there are some defects, which are need to be improved schemes like BHIM App- 1. BHIM is for only Android system,not for other operating system 2. its very dull and slow down whole mobile system. its not working as fast as other application like- PAYTM, SBI BUDDY etc. 3. Its available in only Hindi and English, not in vernacular language. 4 its late

Sir,what about generating of TIN Numbered Bills and acceptance of E-Payment by AWWA,NWWA,AFWWA Shops running through out all Defense establishments across the Country with huge transaction turnover?

#WatalCommittee, #DigitalPayments, #DepartmentofEconomicAffairs, #NITIAayog, #MyGov Sir TRAI should mandate all Telecom companies to use Financial Apps NO DATA CHARGE, OR ALLOT 60 MINUTES DATS USAGE FREELY FOR BANKING APPS like Chillr, Phonepe BHIM etc for UPI APPS for electricity, Property tax, water bill etc , FOR ONE YEAR, Later they can charge Rs.10 per month for such usage for 10 transactions per month in 2018 onwards.

Tax id & payment over Mobile Create Id over Mobile phone viz using Aadhaar. Allow them to pay minimum % of sale value via just Aadhaar # and tax amount just as PayTM. At period end (month or year). Allow them to take refund as well by providing Aadhaar and sale amount. If Below limit, issue refund within 24hours.

Government can use the posters to inform citizen how to use the UPI e-Wallet app and BHIM App the posters can be pastes at Shops,Malls,Hospital, theater, Railway station, Metro Station, post office, Government Office, Private Office, Banks, Private Office,etc. So that Citizen can read it and can use it it should be published in different language as per state and should be also published in Newspaper in regional languages it will be Helpful and will help top promoted cashless transaction.

Respected PM - At present LPG customers of Bharat Gas, Indian Oil Corporation, Hindustan Corporation can make cash payment and online payment for refilling LPG cylinders. Government of India can now provide additional payment options like payment from UPI E-wallet, BHIM App, Debit card swipe, Aadhaar Card linked Payment options to customers then it will be beneficial to all. Please try to implement it.

Dear Sir, May I respectfully submit the following: 1.Cheap smartphones can be given away to every poor family that has no smartphone. 2.Paying bill maybe made tollfree. 3.PayTM like apps can be created and promoted by the govt. 4.Grocery, Vegatable, Fruits, Medicines can be excempted from service tax irrespective of the bill amount. 5.Street vendors and poor roadside shop owners maybe given free small swipe machines. 5. Nationwide school programmes can be conducted. 6.

Dear Team, HNY 17 Fear of learning most of the people think that it is unsafe to learn from others they want to learn by themselves. kindly clearly give demo advertisement of how people use digital payment clearly on tv with fake bank a/c step by step point to point daily & conduct show on doordarshan & other media where people call for any doubt from experts also waive validity from data packs. Smart phones with internal memory prices must be reduce.
