Agar merchant par 0.4% MDR lagega to merchant use price me add karke consumer se hi vasulega, just like GST merchant par lagta hai par bharta consumer hai. Isse dukandar kahega "Cash lao, UPI par charge hai" aur log phir se cash based economy ki taraf chale jayenge. Digital India ko nuksaan hoga. Kripya aam aadmi ke UPI ko free rakhein. Walking and cycling are essential for millions, yet many cities lack safe, continuous footpaths and cycling paths. Singapore shows how thoughtful planning can promote active mobility, with its cycling network planned to reach about 1,300 km by 2030. India can develop its own model with obstruction-free footpaths, protected cycle lanes, safe crossings, shaded walkways, lighting and accessible ramps, connected to public transport. A developed city should serve people, not just vehicles. I hope pedestrian infrastructure becomes a basic part of every road project. Jai Hind.

Modi ji, I live with my husband and a school-going son in Bengaluru. While visiting my in-laws who live in the western ghats region of Karnataka, my son observed the village roads on our car journey and remarked, "How are the roads here so clean?!". He is used to see the dumped garbage on the city roads that he was surprised to not see the same on the village roads. Not sure if my response was correct but I replied, "not many people live in the villages compared to the city. The vast population dumping garbage on the roads make them visibly unclean. The fast-paced life and a lack of ownership of the place makes the people in the city follow poor civic sense." How do we improve civic sense among our people? One way is to introduce the topic in moral science, value education classes in schools: in middle-school and high-school curriculums so that the children can educate their parents and relatives on following proper civic sense. Would like to hear your thoughts on the same.
