In olden times in Kerala, there was a custom where carpenters would recite Sanskrit mantras and perform a ritual before starting construction work of building. During his visit to Kerala in 1934, Mahatmaji who laid the foundation stone for the hostel attached to the Vidyamandiram school of the Ramakrishna Ashram at Punkunnam in Thrissur. At that time it was customary for carpenters to chant mantras and perform a ritual before laying the foundation stone. However, no one really knew the meaning.

Respected PM Sir, As the nation is learnt to be passing through some critical stage when it comes to availability of auto fuels and domestic LPG (amid US inflicted Middle East Crisis), it may be high time that each one of us, including nation's political fraternity also join the national mainstream on this count.

Request honourable Modiji to emphasize on each citizen planting and nurturing atleast 2 trees in his lifetime. Trees may be planted on own land or in public parks with permission of local government or on State highways, school grounds. The average temperature of earth is likely to reach 40-45 degrees which will make life unlivable for children and elderly, middle aged in urban concrete jungle. Cutting healthy trees even in private plots should be discouraged unless it poses a danger

I want to draw your attention towards cleanliness drive which we all initiated in 2014. Except few cities , things have not improved sir. I live in Faridabad, and situation is pathetic. Citizens are doing their part but government bodies like MCF or horticulture department are not working to keep the city clean despite declaring Faridabad as smart city. So it is requested that through your channel Man ki baat , please reemphasize especially to local government bodies to ensure cleanliness

To the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, India’s unity in diversity is our greatest strength. Schools can promote fraternity and cooperative federalism by celebrating the culture, language, traditions, and heritage of every State and Union Territory through monthly cultural activities. When children learn about every part of India, they grow with respect, harmony, and national pride. Jai Hind.🇮🇳

Namaste! I am Rashi Tiwari from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. I have submitted a detailed Five-Pillar Reform Framework covering corruption accountability, performance-based promotions, PPP waste management, waste picker formalization, and AI-based citizen auditing. This framework requires no new ministry or budget — it uses existing legal machinery (DoPT, Lokpal, MoHUA, NIC) to create 2–3 million green jobs, formalize 4 million waste pickers, and generate Rs.10,000 Cr/year from recycling.
