The Government has reviewed the existing draft National Youth Policy, 2014 and prepared a new draft National Youth Policy (NYP). The draft NYP envisages a ten - year vision for youth development that India seeks to achieve by 2030. It is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and serves to 'unlock the potential of the youth to advance India'.

The draft NYP seek to catalyze widespread action on youth development across five priority areas viz. education; employment & entrepreneurship: youth leadership & development; health, fitness & sports; and social justice. Each priority area is underpinned by the principle of social inclusion keeping in view the interests of the marginalized sections.

The Department of Youth Affairs seek comments/views/suggestions on the draft NYP from all stakeholders.

Please refer to the policy document: Draft National Youth Policy (PDF 1.23 MB)

The last date to share your ideas and suggestions is 15th July, 2022.

so gentle but quite हो।

If Agniveer Scheme is so good, then Modiji should first implement it in the 1 Million (10 Lakh) Central Govt jobs his Govt is to provide within 1.5 years in civilian sectors first and secondly with Indian Armed Forces officers of Military & CAPFs (Paramilitary) and then lastly only with the Jawans after verifying the pros and cons. Or alternately, Modi Sarkar can raise the entry age till 30 years, increase the 4 year period to 10 years and after 10 years contract must provide monthly pension for atleast 20 years instead of a lumpsum one time Seva Nidhi package payment! We understand due to excessive increase in Govt Salary and Pensions compared to Govt Revenue now, there is no money left to recruit or pay for 3 Million vacant Govt posts so Contractual Employment in Govt sectors is the future but it should be fair

Sir Youth should be given enough opportunity to grow. They should not be treated as they are deprived. India should be called as a land of opportunity. Thats why upper age limit of various normal govt job as well as private job should be abolished. So that anyone who want to change their career at any point of time get the opportunity to do so. Like a school teacher wanted to change his job to banking, or a businessman want to change his job to teaching job it should be welcomed. We all have one life people should give enough opportunity to explore and live the way they wanted to. And govt should continuosly encourage citizens to live to the fullest.

It Seems a group is working behind all confusions , ie outside as well as inside govt. It was a poor step, with poor aim. Which team worked on this concept ,what was aim and cross debate, why in a hurry to announce like notebandi, not giving a time to set up mind, convince people. With excuse I request respected PM sir to retroscope and find defaulter in team. At least sir could have taken suggestions in man ki baat. Thre are so much beautiful ways to implement the same plan. I personally suggest:- let all central govt.services will be offered only to persons served armed forces for five years or more. Rather it should be job shifting mechanism with the 25% retaining with v.good remuneration, as you wished. That mean all selected candidates to central govt.for B and C class will first serve armed forces for five years, then they will return to original selected post. Handicapped and female can be exempted. The returning male candidates will get their due seniority or one extra sen
