Online authentication using Aadhaar, which is already being offered as an authentication mechanism by UIDAI, can be made seamless if mobile numbers of individuals are linked to their Aadhaar numbers. This would do away with users providing Aadhaar number for every transaction as their mobile numbers would represent their Aadhaar number.

Ideas and suggestions are welcome on the Concept Paper on how mobile phones and Aadhaar could be linked so that mobile phones can be used as instruments for online electronic authentication of individuals’ identities.

The suggestions may include technical architecture and solutions, Use Cases, policy guidelines, process improvements, implementation mechanisms, etc.

The last date for submission of your comments is 12th February, 2015.

Only Rs 80/- in a mobile to the biggest PSU Telecom operator(BSNL), keeps a mobile no active for one year. Anybody, using SIM of private operators for their communication purpose must use such a SIM in the second slot of their mobile phone for their Digital Identity.Unless all citizens provides their Digital Identity, hereafter say a 10 digit mobile no, all government facilities may be kept invalid. Once the person cannot contacted in future for Ration card,PAN,Voter ID,Adhar, what is use then

it is very difficult to open an account under the PMDJY scheme. one of known person applied to open an a/c at BOB Shakarpur vikas marg delhi, within 2 months she got message twice on her mobile phone to go branch to activate ur a/c, but the operation head of shakarpur BOB behaves like a policemen not like a banking personnel, this is very pathetic situation under such uncooperative & irresponsible circumstances how the idea of governance at palm,more governance less govt.,& digital govt exist

SIR, GOVT TO BE ANNOUNCE THE EVERY MOBILE NUMBERS ARE LINK WITH THEIR AADHAAR NUMBER. PEOPLE WHO ARE GET A NEW & OLD CONNECTION THEY SHOULD BE GIVE THEIR AADHAAR NUMBER. IT MAY BE HELP BY VARIOUS SCHEMES TO THE GOVT & PEOPLE FOR THEIR IDENTITY.

sir i am the student of student up. i am persuing a proffeational course here ..a big issue is arising here to the scholarship policy wich is ammended by the up.govt in year 2014. according to new rule they will not refund full fees its a big problem for the lower middle class person .. who cant effort the fees. .. SCHOLARSHIP IS THE ONLY A SUPPORT OF THEIR STUDIES. my by this new policy many student will go for illitratecy

Its not a good idea, cause mob. nos are changeable , but yes, if you gave a option to change mobile no. as & when is required then it may work.

आदरणीय मोदी जी सादर प्रणाम हम लोग NIC में विप्रो से पोस्टेड नेटवर्क इंजीनियर है और हमारी सैलरी मात्र 14000रूपए है जो की एक इंजीनियर की पोस्ट के हिसाब से बहुत कम है हमारा आपसे अनुरोध है की आप हमे NIC में रेगुलर कर दे जिससे हमारा और हमारे परिवार का जीवन सुरक्षित हो सके और हम सम्मान से जीवन यापन कर सके आज के महंगाई के दौर में 14000रुपये से हम कैसे अपने परिवार का भरण पोषण कर रहे है ये आपसे ज्यादा अच्छे से और कोई भी नहीं समझ सकता ! आप सबके लिए सोचते है तो आपसे करवद्ध निवेदन की हमारे लिए भी कुछ सोचे !

Mr Modi and Kiran Bedi should organize TV interview withy all TV channels highlighting how Mr MOdi understand poor people's difficulty while he was struggling to survive being born in por and backward family. Kejriwal being born in well to do family and having good job can have sympathy for poor people and work for them. Modi in his 40 years of struggle against poverty can understand vein of poor and can work for bijli, pani, education and job for poor better than any one else
