With globalization and liberalization of Indian Economy in last two decades, numerous domestic and international companies have been drawn to investing in new modes of business/ business models targeted at the huge domestic market especially in the consumer goods & services. Direct Selling is one of these modes where goods /services are sold directly by the producer/service provider to the consumers. For this different models such as Multi Level/Network marketing, Door to Door Selling, Online Selling, Tele-shopping are being used. These practices are new and different from traditional retail through shops. In the absence of a proper regulatory framework, retail through these models leads to consumer grievances, trader’s issues, slow growth of the sector etc.

The aim of this discussion is to deliberate and evolve views of all stakeholders for providing a regulatory framework to the sector.

The best way of Promotion of Information and Communication Technology systems in school and adult education is to allot all the possible allocable opportunities of learning and promoting to the privileged reservation categories and corrupt, selfish persons, like chaiwalas who fulfill their dreams "around the world" at the cost of nation's money, shot slogans of good doing to the poor.

Today's retailers are fearless they are like "MRP se niche chahiye toh kahi aur se le lo" ,"khulle nai hai kahi aur se le lo "they are fearless because of us ,as a consumer government is providing us many facilities but we are not using them gov. should make it simple to report against these evils in market but we also have to take action because ek dukaan pe nai mila dhudh kyunki shopkeeper MRP se jyada bech rha hai to dusri shop se le liya uss shopkeeper ko gaali di aur hogya

There should be unique code categorily to each manufacturer to seller of goods and services. By which it will be easy to find out about complaints, quality issues etc regarding that goods/category holder Also the govt/court can make remark on that due to which it will be useful to both while enquiring that good/category holder.

In the railway stations the vendors charge for any product more than the MRP mentioned on the product. There should be a separate check on these vendors as if asked they start misbehaving with the passengers and it cause them a lot of problems.

there are many intellectual people to share their experience.....but start should be from smoothening the delayed system....WWW.PGPORTAL.GOV.IN and WWW.CORE.NIC.IN are best online portals for complain but never works or works for very lucky ones .......so my appeal is to make them work first for each and everyone in very effective manner..... regards PUSHPENDRA SHARMA 8946832626
