With globalization and liberalization of Indian Economy in last two decades, numerous domestic and international companies have been drawn to investing in new modes of business/ ...
Some recommendations -
1) There has to be a regulatory body which could provide legal policy framework, direction and ensure compliance. This would stop fraudulent companies from taking advantage of the ignorance of people in this area.
2) Simplify the Govt formalities for a person / direct seller to participate in the direct selling industry.
3) Protect the rights of the end consumer with Money back guarantees.
Direct selling is an industry that needs to be regulated and promoted as it is done globally. The industry could bring in more investments in Manufacturing and Distribution as well as add significantly to the exchequer. The industry could promote entrepreneurship and skill development at the grass root level and could uplift all walks of the society across all age groups by providing them a good source of primary or secondary income. The industry has more than 50% participation from Woman.
Each Product should contain Cost, tax, profit, marketing, import, consultancy detail.
This make more transparency, check on rupees devaluation, competition, consumer satisfaction.
Regulation and awareness is required for the people for mativating them for DSA in a Good Brand company like as AMWAY.........

4. Regulation need: Only IDSA registered company whose model is really verified form ethical, moral and business point of view. Many small companies are cheating customers by coming overnight and running away within few months or years. This is creating a bad name and really require regulations to protect the interest of alternate distribution which is promoting healthy competition.
MY views on Direct selling. It is the best opportunity with a win-win-win situation for manufacture, direct selling distributors and consumers because a) 50%-60% money in traditional distribution channel goes to middle men including some brand ambassadors, advertisement cost etc., which does not really benefit the customer with Quality except increase cost. b) Money back guarantee for each and every product. c) profit sharing to the people who can really take it as an opportunity.
2. It is a Huge international industry properly regulated worldwide specially in USA/Australia/China etc. This will attract Foreign investments and employment , made in india option possible.
1. As per KPMG/FICCI report, Dec 4th , 2014 India’s Direct selling Industry has the potential to engage 18 million Direct Sellers by 2025 and to reach a size of INR 64,500 crores by 2025. This will help our youths to be self reliant. Direct selling provide the opportunity to middle class and poor who can't afford huge investment to start any business to start a business with almost zero cost, and be successful through hard work, dedication and strong leadership development.
Direct Selling is not only demand also has requirement for Middle and Lower class families. This model provide opportunity to set business without any hassle unlike any conventional business and scope to become responsible person for family and citizen for the country. We appreciate Modi Sarkar for taking these initiatives to bring regulation in India.
The fastest growing business model, Direct Selling should be protected by Laws of Govt. of India as it offers an honest, ethical & a very scientific alternative means of income opportunity to the people of India. Regulation will help in preventing fraud, scam and will help legal, ethical companies like Amway.
