On 15th August every year, the Prime Minister speaks from the ramparts of the Red Fort and lays out the government's programmes and policies. Over the last few years, the Hon’ble Prime Minister has directly invited ideas and suggestions from citizens for the Independence Day Speech. Similarly, this year too the Prime Minister invites citizens to contribute their inputs for New India. So, now you have the opportunity to tell your ideas, give word to your suggestions and crystallize your vision. PM Narendra Modi may pick up some of the ideas in his speech on 15th August.

Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, India is one of the world's youngest nations, with over 60% of our population under 35 years of age. While young citizens gain the right to vote at 18, the minimum age to contest elections for Legislative Assemblies (MLA) and Lok Sabha remains capped at 25 under Article 173(b) and Article 84(b) of the Constitution. To empower youth and drive Viksit Bharat, I humbly submit the following key proposals: 1. Constitutional & Legislative Reforms Lower Minimum Age to 21 Years: Amend Article 173(b) and Article 84(b) to reduce the candidate age limit from 25 to 21 years. A 21-year-old can serve as an IAS officer or Gram Panchayat head; they possess the maturity to serve in state assemblies as well. Special Parliamentary Committee Action: Fast-track recommendations previously made by Parliamentary Standing Committees regarding candidate age reduction. 2. Voluntary Youth Quotas within Political Parties Shivam Gupta 359 SIKANDARPUR

: Respected Hon'ble Prime Minister, As India moves towards Viksit Bharat 2047, I request you to dedicate a part of your Independence Day address to "Nation Building through Education, Innovation, and Environmental Responsibility." Kindly encourage every citizen to adopt one meaningful mission: Read one book every month to build a knowledgeable India. Plant and nurture at least one tree every year for a greener future. Volunteer a few hours each month for community service. Support digital learning and skill development for youth and rural students. Promote responsible citizenship by keeping our surroundings clean, conserving water, and respecting public property. A national call for "One Citizen – One Positive Action for India" can inspire millions to contribute directly to the vision of Viksit Bharat. Such a people's movement will

Namaste, My Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra-ji Modi. “One must every morning clean one’s soul and one’s body, but if you don’t have time for both, it is better to clean the soul than the body.” Swami Vivekananda The Nation has introduced cleaning the country ( body) through Swachh Bharat Mission. When will the Nation witness the cleansing of the soul, a greater priority, according to Swamiji, and embark on Sachha Bhartiya Mission? Inspired by Swamiji and Sri Aurobindo, I proposed a different method for child upbringing grounded in Indian mystic wisdom to address adolescent issues, submitted to Dr P. K. Mishra-ji on 11.04.2026 & on July 28. A foundation in Indian values early in is crucial. If advice alone were enough, the world would look very different today. Many dark forces exploit children’s innocence, resulting in disorderly youth. Our unique app, Your Turning Point, offers the solution. Regards. Dr Sarbani Sen PhD Sri Aurobindo Ashram Pondicherry

      1. In defence sector of the country, the decision process is very very slow and which is leading to delay in almost all the decisions which weakens the country's defence capabilities. 2. The corruption in education sector even in IITs like is very high and is being considered as a new normal which is not just bad for this generation but will effect the country for centuries. 3. The country should excel in critical technologies like even jet engines, nuclear reactors and decrease the fuel consumption, foreign imports in critical sectors. 4. The country's R&D budget should increase and ask private companies in india to invest in R&D and innovate new technologies and make the country self reliant, also increase export capacity of the country. 5. India should make sure the dependence on china for imports should decrease by creating alternate solutions domestically. 6. The use of fertilizers is very high and organic farming should be incentivised
